The Arabs named "La Mancha" as "land without water" which describes the extreme climate, which is dry, intense and gives this area a unique vegetation which survives the dry and hot summers and the extreme coldness in winter.

In this environs, initially not ideal for animals, the Manchego sheep's have found their surroundings since generations.

LORDI is situated since generations in the Toledo Mountains and is well known for its excellent raw materials, the tradition of cheese making and modern technologies.

Los Yebens, the village where they have the factory is in the heart of the Toledo Mountains and the manufactured cheeses are one of the biggest assortments of Castilla la Mancha.
